dc.descriptionThis thesis was carried out with the purpose of explaining the influence of family support on the health of the users of the PADOMI program of the elderly in the Hospital I La Esperanza ESSALUD - District of La Esperanza: 2018. The type of applied research has been considered, based on an explanatory design, the methods and techniques of qualitative and quantitative research have been used, and the sample consisted of 152. Users of this Program determined as a unit of analysis. These results show that the elderly of the program have poor family support (56%) and a high rate of family abandonment (64%), which deteriorates mental health through a high degree of depression (59%) and increases physical illnesses such as diabetes (62%). On the other hand, they are in a situation of moral abandonment, because they do not receive affection from their family nucleus, they do not talk about their basic needs, likewise, they express that their children do not visit them and do not support them in the care of their chronic illnesses. With this study we propose from the perspective of Social Work, provide information to the Social Service Area of the Hospital I La Esperanza ESSALUD - District of La Esperanza, to implement programs aimed at family members and benefactor institutions to contribute to the solution of this social problem.
dc.descriptionLa presente tesis se realizó con la finalidad de explicar la influencia del soporte familiar en la salud de los Usuarios del programa PADOMI del adulto mayor en el Hospital I La Esperanza ESSALUD – Distrito de La Esperanza: 2018. Se ha considerado el tipo de investigación aplicada, teniendo como base un diseño explicativo, se ha utilizado los métodos y técnicas de la investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa y, la muestra constó de 152. Usuarios de este Programa determinado como unidad de análisis. Estos resultados demuestran que los adultos mayores del programa presentan deficiente soporte familiar (56 %) y alto índice de abandono familiar (64 %), que deteriora la salud mental a través de alto grado de depresión (59 %) e incrementa las enfermedades físicas como la diabetes (62 %). Por otro lado, se encuentran en situación de abandono moral, porque no reciben afecto de su núcleo familiar, no dialogan sobre sus necesidades básicas, así mismo, expresan que sus hijos no les visitan y no les apoyan en la atención de sus enfermedades crónicas. Con este estudio nos proponemos desde la perspectiva de Trabajo Social, proporcionar información al Área de Servicio Social del Hospital I La Esperanza ESSALUD – Distrito de La Esperanza, para implementar programas dirigidos a los familiares e instituciones benefactores para contribuir en la solución de esta problemática social.
