| dc.description | In Peru, there is a vast cultural diversity, wich includes dances, foods, traditions and languages. Both tangible and intangible cultural heritage has forged the identity of Peruvians, in such a way that it has contributed to social, cultural and economic development, attracting tourists from around the world to contemplate Peruvian culture. Tourism has activated Peru economically and should be recognized and protected through strategies and initiatives with a focus on social participation. Peruvian Folk Dance groups are the most outstanding cultural activity, however, they lack from proper infrastructure and most of their rehearsals are carried out in free spaces. Without any support from the local goverment they don’t have access to safe spaces and equipment. This problem is focus in all over the country, but in this thesis I will be targeting the populacion from Lima City. The dance comunity is dissatisfied for diferent reasons: the damaged and uneven floor that affects the physical performance of the participants, the changing rooms and bathrooms are far away, the weather can affect the performance and health and they are constanly in danger of being robbed. Therefore, a cultural center for dance and music is proposed in the downtown area of Lima, projected under the concepts of permeability, creating a connection with the environment and replicating the rehearsals carried out in public spaces. | |
| dc.description | En el Perú, existe una diversidad cultural importante y lo más destacado son las costumbres, los bailes, comidas, tradiciones y lenguas. Tanto el patrimonio cultural material como inmaterial ha forjado la identidad de los peruanos, de tal manera que, ha contribuido al desarrollo social, cultural y económico, atrayendo a diferentes turistas del mundo a contemplar nuestra cultura peruana. Dicha atracción turística ha activado económicamente el Perú y se debería reconocer y proteger a través de estrategias e iniciativas con un enfoque de participación social. Todo esto no sería posible sin las agrupaciones de danza que son autosuficientes y día a día practican en los espacios libres de la ciudad y no cuenta con una buena infraestructura que responda a estas actividades. Además, no cuentan con ningún respaldo de municipios o del estado que contribuya a disponer espacios seguros y con equipamiento necesario. Esta problemática se sitúa en la ciudad de Lima, cercano al centro histórico, los bailarines se encuentran insatisfechos por razones como: el suelo donde ensayan dañado y desigual afectando en el rendimiento físico de los participantes, los servicios de cambiadores y baños se encuentran lejos, el clima puede afectar en la realización de los ensayos, problemas con los robos de sus pertenecías. Por lo que, se propone un centro cultural de danzas y músicas en la zona de Lima Centro proyectada bajo los conceptos de permeabilidad, creando una conexión con el entorno y replique los ensayos que realizan en los espacios públicos. | |
