dc.descriptionEn el Museo del Libro Antiguo, localizado en la ciudad de La Antigua Guatemala, se resguarda desde hace más de 60 años una colección particular que, anterior a esta investigación carecía de datos específicos en cuanto su adquisición. Mediante un proceso de investigación documental de los propios registros antiguos del MLA, noticias de su inauguración, cotejo de sus primeros inventarios y otras referencias en torno a la historia de la imprenta y de la Real Universidad de San Carlos, fue posible realizar una identidad historiográfica de esta particular colección, lo que además permite aportar a la reconstrucción del antiguo archivo de la Real Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.es-ES
