| dc.description | In 1715, Lieutenant Alejo de Estrada presented a report to the authorities, where he refers in extenso to a witchcraft trial followed several healers, for the worms found in the drink of Martín García Belesuy. The material used interpreters in its collection and presents a part of the text in K'iche'. It's about a event that caused sting in a colonial society, determined to eradicate this type of practices, which show us aspects such as resistance and survival, which are central in the analysis due to their significance. | en-US |

El material utilizó intérpretes en su colección y presenta una parte del texto en k’iche’. Trata de un evento que causaba escozor en una sociedad colonial, empeñada en erradicar este tipo de prácticas, las cuales nos muestran aspectos como la resistencia y pervivencia, que resultan centrales en el análisis por su significación. | es-ES |
