dc.descriptionVíctor Manuel Vadillo is a photographer from the Petén society of the 20th century. Most of the exhibitions collected here are shots in situ, of exteriors with multiple contents, of social events and of the Petén environment. The negatives of this material were deposited in the hands of Alfonso Arrivillaga and Silvia Shaw by Marco Tulio Castellanos Pinelo, years ago when they carried out work in the region. This issue of the magazine dedicated to Petén constitutes a good opportunity to give birth to these images, the portrait of a society and a scenario that has changed to one of "threats and profound changes."en-US

La mayoría de las exposiciones aquí recogidas son tomas in situ, de exteriores con contenidos múltiples, de eventos sociales y del entorno de Petén. Los negativos de este material fueron depositados manos de Alfonso Arrivillaga y Silvia Shaw por Marco Tulio Castellanos Pinelo, años atrás cuando realizaron trabajos en la región. Este número de la revista dedicada a Petén constituye una buena oportunidad para dar a luz estas imágenes, el retrato de una sociedad y un escenario que ha mudado a otro de “amenazas y cambios profundos”.es-ES
