dc.descriptionThanks to the platforms offered by new technologies, a new form of virtual religiosity called cybershamanism has emerged, and with it the so-called neo-shamans or virtual shamans. This paper observes the adaptation that traditional Korean shamanism and shamans have undergone through participant observation research in two institutions in the capital of South Korea. Likewise, the academic debate between tradition and modernity in this field will be analyzed.en-US
dc.descriptionGracias a las plataformas que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías ha surgido una nueva forma de religiosidad virtual denominada ciberchamanismo y con ella las llamadas neo-chamanas o chamanas virtuales. En este artículo se observa la adaptación que ha experimentado el chamanismo coreano tradicional y las chamanas mediante una investigación basada en la observación participante en dos instituciones de la capital de Corea del Sur. Del mismo modo, se analizará el debate académico existente  entre tradición y modernidad dentro del chamanismo coreano actual.es-ES
