dc.descriptionThis study portrays the historical background related to the convening of the 1949 Constituent Assembly, and it specifically discusses which political parties were involved and the outcome of the election. It shows that a significant number of the assembly members elected were members of the so-called Dynasty of the Conquerors. It also refers to initial agreements and actions of the Assembly, and it then presents a number of interesting pieces of information on the Assembly, and it concludes with a brief biography of constituent members.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente estudio da a conocer los antecedentes históricos de la convocatoria a la Asamblea Constituyente de 1949, particularmente cuáles fueron los partidos políticos que participaron y el resultado de la elección. Se demuestra que un número importante de los diputados electos son miembros de la llamada dinastía de los conquistadores. También hace referencia a los acuerdos y actuaciones iniciales de la Asamblea, para luego exponer una serie de datos curiosos sobre la Asamblea para finalmente concluir con una breve biografía de los constituyentes.es-ES
