| dc.description | In the following paper there is a presentation of the theory of comets both the one from Galileo and the one from Grassi with a few of the arguments used in their debate in the context of the copernican, ptolemaic and tychonic systems. Afterwards it deals with the problems of Galileo and The Jesuits. Finally it will be argued that the aggressive reaction of Galileo and his theory of comets were actually a bad attempt to defend copernicanism at time where he was forbidden to speak about it. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este trabajo primero se expone la teoría de los cometas de Galileo y la de Grassi junto con algunos de los argumentos que utilizan al debatir sus teorías en el contexto de la discusión sobre los modelos ticónico, copernicano y ptolemaico. Luego se tratan los problemas de Galileo con los jesuitas, y finalmente se argumentará que la reacción agresiva de Galileo así como la formulación de su teoría de los cometas son en realidad un mal intento por defender el copernicanismo en tiempos que se le prohibió discutir sobre esto. | es-ES |
