| dc.description | The teaching- learning process involves also the evaluation, and it isn´t an easy task in Dentistry, especially in clinical processes. It could also be difficult to find out exactly if the proposed learning goals were achieved or not in the course. Next, the results of an experience about the application of an objective structured test are shown. This with the objective to prove it and use it in the future as an alternative evaluative method at the end of the course Restorative Clinic I from the Dentistry School in the University of Costa Rica. A group of students in the Restorative Clinical I, was selected, to which the test was applied. Ten stations clinics were developed for this purpose, each with items of different types in which the student should apply the knowledge he had acquired during his apprenticeship in the course. This article mentions the bases that motivated its use and also its results, scope and the recommendations of authors for future implementations within the field of dental education. | en-US |
| dc.description | El proceso enseñanza aprendizaje involucra la evaluación del conocimiento;esta no suele ser una tarea fácil cuando se trata de procesos clínicos en Odontología y puede resultar dif ícil determinar con fidelidad si se han alcanzado o no, los objetivos de aprendizaje propuestos en el curso. A continuación se presentan los resultados de la aplicación de un examen objetivo estructurado, con el propósito de probar e implementarla posteriormente como método evaluativo alternativo al final del curso en Clínicas de Restaurativas I de la Facultad de Odontología Universidad de Costa Rica. Se seleccionó un grupo de estudiantes de la Clínica de Restaurativas I, a los cuales se les aplicó la prueba. Se elaboraron, diez estaciones clínicas, cada una con ítemes de diferentes tipos en las que el estudiante debía aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos durante su aprendizaje en el curso. En este artículo se mencionan las bases que motivaron su uso, los resultados y su alcance, asimismo las recomendaciones de los autores para su posible implementación dentro del campo de la educación de Odontología en el futuro. | es-ES |
