dc.descriptionThe proposal for the restoration of the Antigua Capitanía de Puerto, in the city of Limon, Costa Rica, declared as a historic building, focuses first on the reconstruction of structures and damaged elements in order to reverse its deterioration and avoid its total loss in the near future. The project also includes the rescuing of the intangible value of the building while generating citizen participation initiatives to reintegrate it to the cultural context of the site.en-US
dc.descriptionLa propuesta de rehabilitación del inmueble declarado Patrimonio Histórico Arquitectónico, Antigua Capitanía de Puerto, Puerto Limón, Costa Rica, se enfoca primeramente en reconstruir las estructuras y elementos dañados del mismo para frenar el deterioro creciente que experimenta, evitando su pérdida total en un futuro cercano. El proyecto incluye también rescatar el valor intangible de la edificación generando iniciativas de participación ciudadana para reintegrarlo al contexto cultural vigente de la zona.es-ES
