dc.descriptionThis document will try to focus on the analysis of some reports written in the newspaper La República between 1965 and 1985. This will be done in order to problematize the vision that existed about "the lesbian" or about women who had intimate or loving encounters with other women. It will be shown how this information was qualitatively and quantitatively different from what was done about gay men. In their case, the amount of news where the topic of lesbianism was exclusively dealt with was much smaller and there was a greater concentration on describing aspects related to their love relationships and the world of show business or movie projections where lesbian scenes appeared.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente documento intentará centrarse en el análisis de algunos reportajes escritos en el periódico La República entre 1965 y 1985. Lo anterior se hará con el fin de problematizar la visión que existía sobre las lesbianas o sobre las mujeres que tenían encuentros íntimos o amorosos con otras mujeres. Se demostrará cómo estas informaciones fueron cualitativa y cuantitativamente diferentes a las que se realizaron sobre los hombres gais. En el caso de ellas, la cantidad de noticias donde se trató exclusivamente el tema del lesbianismo fue mucho menor, y hubo una mayor concentración en describir aspectos sobre sus relaciones amorosas y al mundo del espectáculo o proyección de películas donde aparecían escenas lésbicas.es-ES
