dc.descriptionThe objective of this presentation is to analyze the emergence of the universe on the agenda of agricultural health authorities Argentina between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Diseases such as malaria and yellow fever were understood as an “internal threat”, when impacts exceed provincial frameworks, as was the malaria outbreaks in the province of Córdoba. This expansion led to the implementation of several initiatives being very significant malaria campaigns carried out in the thirties, whose logistics are capitalized in preventing an outbreak of yellow fever in those years threatened to countries bordering Argentina.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este artículo es analizar la aparición del universo agrario en la agenda de las autoridades sanitarias argentinas entre fines del Siglo XIX y los inicios del XX. Enfermedades como la malaria o la fiebre amarilla fueron entendidas como una “amenaza interna”, cuando sus consecuencias excedían los marcos provinciales, como fue la aparición de focos palúdicos en la provincia de Córdoba. Esta expansión, condujo a la realización de varias iniciativas siendo muy significativas las campañas contra el paludismo realizadas en la década del treinta, cuya logística se capitalizó en la prevención de un foco de fiebre amarilla que amenazó en esos años a paíseslimítrofes con la Argentina.es-ES
