dc.descriptionWe present the optomechanical design for FRODOSPEC red arm optics based on the relevant specifications for the collimator and the camera. The global philosophy and the characteristics of the chosen materials are described. The conceptual and detailed designs of all the individual cells and barrels are presented. 3-D models and photographs of the collimator and camera units are also included. The results of the final optical tests carried out to verify the performance of the collimator and camera units as a function of temperature prove the quality of the optomechanical design.
