dc.descriptionWe propose a numerical method for the inverse scattering problem. The method is based on linearization and continuation; it iterates over frequency-increasing scattering data. Initial guesses are determined at low frequency using the convex scattering support theory of Kusiak et al [5]. In this paper we deal with the case a sound soft obstacle in two dimensions. The proposed method can be extended in a straightforward manner to other boundary conditions.
