| dc.description | Se define a la crianza como un proceso sociocultural e históricamente situado que conlleva acciones prácticas para el cuidado infantil y representaciones sobre las figura parentales y la niñez (Colangelo, 2014; Ortale & Santos 2014). El modelo de la ‘crianza con apego’ de William Sears (2001) pauta 8 principios que las figuras parentales, en especial la madre, deben realizar para generar una buena crianza. La expansión de Internet y las redes sociales posibilitaron que las prescripciones de esta propuesta de cuidado se popularice en la escena digital de habla hispana. En esta investigación se busca describir y analizar las tramas simbólicas en torno a la ‘crianza con apego’, la maternidad, la paternidad y la infancia que circulan en la red social Instagram. Se realiza un estudio descriptivo cuantitativo y cualitativo utilizando texto e imágenes de 111 publicaciones que contienen el hashtag #crianzaconapego. Para la muestra analizada, se ha encontrado que las representaciones en torno a la crianza con apego asocian la crianza con la función maternal. Si bien se postula como alternativa a la crianza Tradicional, refuerza estereotipos con una visión esencialista y naturalista que ubican a la madre como la principal encargada en las tareas de cuidado. | |
| dc.description | Parenting is defined as a sociocultural and historically situated process that involves both practical actions for child care and representations about parental figures and childhood (Colangelo, 2014; Ortale & Santos 2014). The model of ‘attachment parenting’ by William Sears (2001) outlines 8 principles (8 B’s) that parental figures, especially the mother, must carry out in order to generate good parenting. The expansion of the Internet and social networks made it possible for the prescriptions of this care proposal to become popular in the Spanish-speaking digital scene. This research seeks to describe and analyze the symbolic plots around ‘attachment parenting’, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood that circulate on the social network Instagram. A quantitative and qualitative descriptive study is carried out using text and images from 111 publications that contain the hashtag #crianzaconapego. For the analyzed sample, it has been found that representations around attachment parenting associate parenting with maternal function. Although it is proposed as an alternative to traditional parenting, it reinforces stereotypes that place the mother as the main person in charge of caregiving tasks. Likewise, it consolidates an essentialist and naturalistic vision of sex-generic functions around care tasks from a dichotomous and binary perspective. | |
