| dc.description | Durante 2018, la televisión digital terrestre en Argentina alcanza su noveno año de implementación, en el proceso de transición de la televisión analógica al de televisión digital terrestre (SATVD-T) hasta su definitivo apagón en el año 2019. Desde su activación, el Estado Nacional hizo hincapié en la idea de que la comunicación es un derecho humano, y para garantizarlo puso en marcha una serie de políticas con el objetivo de posibilitar el acceso universal a la televisión de aire de modo gratuito para todos los habitantes de la República Argentina por vía de la TV Digital Abierta (TDA). Sin duda, es difícil separar dicho proceso de la aprobación de la Ley de Servicios de Comunicación Audiovisual, que marcó un cambio de paradigma. Este artículo tiene como objetivo describir y analizar las decisiones tomadas por el nuevo gobierno argentino, que modifican estructuralmente el proceso de digitalización. | |
| dc.description | During 2018, digital terrestrial television in Argentina reached its ninth year of implementation, in the process of transition from analogue television to digital terrestrial television (SATVD-T) until its definitive blackout in 2019. Since its activation, the National State emphasized the idea that communication is a human right, and to guarantee it, it launched a series of policies with the aim of enabling universal access to air television free of charge for all inhabitants of the Argentine Republic through the Open Digital TV (TDA). Without a doubt, it is difficult to separate this process from the approval of the Audiovisual Communication Services Law, which marked a paradigm shift. The purpose of this article is to describe and analyze the decisions taken by the new Argentine government, which structurally modify the digitization process. | |
