| dc.description | El perfil centrado aproximadamente en el paralelo 39º S parte de Puerto Saavedra (Chile) y llega hasta Mar del Plata (Argentina) atravesando Cordillera de Ia Costa y Valle Central en Chile; Cordillera de Ios Andes en Chile y Argentina; Cuenca Neuquina, región NW de Ia Cuenca del Colorado; Cuenca Interserrana Bonaerense y borde S de Tandilia (parte continental) en Argentina. Las anomalías de Bouguer en Argentina aparecen sobre un nivel regional persistentemente ascendente de W á E. La máxima anomalía de Bouguer negativa (-110mGal) se presenta en coincidencia con el límite internacional argentino-chileno(71º25'S) bajo el cual y de acuerdo con nuestra interpretación preliminar Ia eorteza tendría 43 km de espesor.
Hacia el Este esta anomalía se torna positiva en Ios alrededores de Bahía Blanca con una posible vinculación a materiales astenosfóricos ascendidos. Al Ingresar a Ia cuenca Interserrana Bonaerense dicha anomalía se hace negativa llegando a un máximo de -30mGal, interpretados con relación a una potente sedimentación paIeozoica. Ya en Ia zona de Tandilia Ia anomalía de Bouguer es francamente positiva, relación opuesta a Ia clásica interpretación isostática. | |
| dc.description | The profile centred aproximatly in Iatitude 39º south partly in puerto Saavedra (Chile) ranging up to Mar del Plata (Argentina), passes through Coast Bange as well as Central Valley in Chile; the Andes both in Chile and Argentina and Neuquén Basin, north-west region of Colorado Basin, Interserrana Basin of Buenos Aires and south border of Tandilia (continental zone) in Argentina.
The gravity anomalies in Argentina appear above a regional Ievel persistently ascendent fron West to East.
The major negative Bouguer anomaly (-110mGal) coincides with the International Iimit between Argentina and Chile (71º25'S) under which and according to our preliminary Interpretation might have a thickness of 43 km to the East this anomaly becomes positive in the Surroundings of Bahía Blanca with the possible Iink to ascendant astenosferic materials. When getting into the Interserrana Basin of Buenos Aires, the so mentioned anomaly becomes negative again rising to a maximun of -30mGal which are interpreted with relation to a paleozoic sediment thick. FinalIy in the Tandilia zone the Bouguer anomaly is undoubtedly positive an opposite relation to the classical isostatic interpretation∙ | |
