El montaje en los ámbitos cinematográfico y videográfico, el collage en diálogo con las artes visuales, y la práctica del ensamblaje, que redefine tanto la expansión del principio de montaje como la noción de dispositivo cinematográfico, son examinados en el film. Partiendo de la categoría del falso documental, Un tigre de papel se erige en un productivo ensayo sobre las relaciones entre documental y ficción, entre arte y revolución, entre historia y arte contemporáneo, que también reflexiona sobre los alcances del montaje. | |
| dc.description | The article examines the presence of different dimensions of montage in A Paper Tiger, (Luis Ospina, 2007). The montage is studied in the cinematographic and videographic fields, as collage in dialogue with the visual arts, and with the practice of assembly, which redefines both the expansion of the montage principle and the notion of the cinematographic apparatus, are examined in the film. From the point of departure of the mockumentary, A Paper Tiger is a productive essay on the relationship between documentary and fiction, between art and revolution, between history and contemporary art, which also thinks on the boundaries of montage. | |
