| dc.description | Los denominados juicios de Tokio y de Núremberg, montados para juzgar los crímenes cometidos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, serían el inicio de la justicia penal internacional bajo el sistema de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas. A partir de ellos y con la adopción del Estatuto de Roma en 1998 que crea la Corte Penal Internacional, este sistema tendrá un importante desarrollo pero, hasta nuestros días, no ha logrado la universalidad en su jurisdicción ni la unanimidad en su aceptación. | |

With them as a stepping stone and upon the adoption of the Statute of Rome in 1998, which creates the International Criminal Court, this system will enjoy great development.
