| dc.description | El presente artículo se propone contribuir a los debates sobre la cuestión Malvinas, enfocándonos en las discusiones acerca del sentido y la identidad de los Veteranos de Guerra de Malvinas (VGM). Éstas se expresan en la disputa entre diversas categorías con que se los pretende identificar y con las que ellos mismos se identifican, las cuales entrañan profundas implicancias simbólicas y políticas. Su análisis contribuye a esclarecer los controversiales aspectos que han ido atravesando a la cuestión Malvinas desde el conflicto bélico de 1982 hasta la actualidad. Específicamente, en este artículo desarrollamos una sucinta reconstrucción y análisis de la controversia en torno al proyecto de reconocimiento de restos en el Cementerio de Darwin llevado a cabo durante el 2017, que ha despertado profundas discusiones en el seno de los familiares. | |
| dc.description | The present article's purpose is to contribute to the debates about Malvinas theme, focusing on the discussions towards the Malvinas war veterans' identities and meanings. These are expressed in the categories which the veterans are identified and identify themselves, they involve deep symbolic and political implications. Its analysis contributes to clarify the controversial aspects that cross the Malvinas theme since the 1982's conflict to present. Specifically, we develop a short reconstruction and analysis of the controversy about the project of recognition of remains in the Darwin Cemetery, which has aroused discussions between the families of fallen soldiers and the diverse groups of Malvinas war veterans. | |
