It is shown the first results obtained with the new photoelectric photometer attached to the 32-inch reflector of La Plata. From 22 stars in common with the Cape Observatory the systematic difference is ΔV_(LP-C)=0.00 mag and Δ(B-V)_(LP-C)=0.01 mag. Three stars: 27 Cma, HR 2787 and HR 2911 show differences larger than 0.1 mag in V, and according to Cape remarks are surely variables. 27 Cma shows also a depression of 0.2 mag in U-B. A relation between W (width of the Hα emission in km/sec) and U-B is shown inf Fig. 2. It is suggested that perhaps the diagram (B-V, U-B) is not applicable to the Be stars.
