dc.descriptionThe objective of this study was to analyze the differences in the performance of cognitive functions between university consumers of alcohol, cannabis, and non-users. The results indicate, spite there was no significant differences, that non-consumers have better cognitive performance; in turn, the group exclusively consuming alcohol shows a better performance compared to the group exclusively consuming cannabis, except for language ability. According to the results, it is concluded that the exclusive consumption of cannabis affects the cognitive performance of university students in the short term, as does the exclusive consumption of alcohol, but to a lesser extent.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de estudio fue analizar las diferencias en el rendimiento de las funciones cognitivas entre consumidores universitarios de alcohol, de cannabis y no consumidores. Los resultados indican que, a pesar de no existir diferencias significativas, los no consumidores tienen mejor rendimiento cognitivo; a su vez, el grupo consumidor exclusivo de alcohol presenta un mejor rendimiento en comparación con el grupo consumidor exclusivo de cannabis, exceptuando en lenguaje. De acuerdo con los resultados, se concluye que el consumo exclusivo de cannabis incide en el desempeño cognitivo corto plazo, al igual que el consumo exclusivo de alcohol, pero en menor medida.es-ES
