| dc.description | Family cohesion refers to the support or degree of interaction experienced by themembers of a family. In this way it is a very important component in the family climatebecause it facilitates in its members to strengthen the interaction, affective ties anddefine the levels of authority in families, which contributes to the stability and dynamicsof the family system. The purpose of this research is to describe the level of cohesion ofthe family climate of the students of the Mariscal Sucre educational institution in thecity of Manizales in its 3 primary schools, which is developed as a type of descriptiveresearch with a field design, transectional. The population was made up of 275 parentsfrom the institutions studied. The data was collected using the items of the cohesiondimension of the Moss family climate scale. The data were analyzed with descriptivestatistics, specifically with absolute and percentage frequency and the median as ameasure of central tendency. The results of the analysis indicated that the majorityof families are made up of kinship and the type of relationship that allows them tobe classified as nuclear, broad and without a family nucleus. Regarding cohesion,an average of 8.2 was obtained, which when compared with the interpretation scaleindicated that families have a high level of cohesion, before which it can be affirmedthat having a high percentage of nuclear families facilitates promote positive affectiverelationships among family members and therefore guide satisfactory educationalprocesses in the institution. | en-US |
| dc.description | La cohesión familiar se refiere al apoyo o al grado de interacción que vivencianlos miembros de una familia. De esta manera es un componente muy importante enel clima familiar por cuanto facilita en sus integrantes fortalecer la interacción, loslazos afectivos y define los niveles de autoridad en las familias, lo que contribuye a laestabilidad y dinámica del sistema familiar. Esta investigación tiene como propósitodescribir el nivel de cohesión del clima familiar de los estudiantes de la institucióneducativa Mariscal Sucre de la ciudad de Manizales, en sus 3 sedes de primaria;se desarrolla como un tipo de investigación descriptiva con un diseño de campo,transeccional. La población la conformaron 275 padres de las instituciones estudiadas.La recolección de los datos se realizó mediante los items de la dimensión cohesión de laescala de clima familiar de Moss. Los datos se analizaron con estadística descriptiva,específicamente con frecuencia absoluta y porcentual y como medida de tendenciacentral la mediana. Los resultados del análisis indicaron que las familias en sumayoría se conforman, por el parentesco y el tipo de relación que permite clasificarlasen nucleares, amplias y sin núcleo familiar. Con relación a la cohesión se obtuvo unamedia de 8,2 la cual al ser comparada con el baremo de interpretación indicó que lasfamilias tienen un alto nivel de cohesión, ante lo cual se puede afirmar que contar conun alto porcentaje de familias nucleares facilita fomentar relaciones afectivas positivasentre los miembros de la familia y por ende guiar procesos educativos satisfactorios enla institución. | es-ES |
