| dc.description | Los venezolanos han sido testigos en los últimos años de la “derrota de la razón”, la sustitución de la calidad de vida por diferentes opciones de supervivencia. Esta situación referida al desmejoramiento de la calidad de vida, no es única en el país. Se puede leer continuamente noticias que reflejan que aún en los países desarrollados prevalece el absurdo en casi todos los ámbitos de la sociedad, lo cual está llevando a una convivencia cada vez más complicada y condicionada. Ante esta situación, cabe reflexionar sobre el papel que juegan dos tipos de insectos en nuestro planeta: las lombrices y los bachacos. Las lombrices de tierra consideradas benefactoras debido a su influencia positiva sobre los ecosistemas. Los bachacos, por el contrario, actúan mayormente durante la noche, cortando el follaje de las plantas, degradando la calidad de los cultivos. Este artículo es una reflexión respecto a las estructuras sociales que facilitarían el desempeño de actores anónimos comprometidos por el bien común y el desarrollo sostenible que requiere la sociedad. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Venezuelan people have witnessed in recent years the defeat of reason, the substitution of quality of life for different survival options. This situation is not unique to our country. We continually read the news that reflects that even in developed countries, absurdity prevails in almost all areas of society, leading us to an increasingly complicated and conditioned coexistence. Given this situation, it is worth reflecting on the role of two insect types on our planet. Earthworms are considered benefactors due to their positive influence on ecosystems. The bachacos, on the other hand, act mainly at night, cutting the foliage of the plants and degrading the quality of the crops. This article reflects on the social structures that would facilitate the performance of anonymous actors committed to the common good and the sustainable development that our society requires. | en-US |
