dc.descriptionBy rejecting the metaphysical questions that expect an answer based only in facts, the author thesis is that: realistic ways of talking employing the ideas of truth, fact and reality provides and unrealistic approach to philosophical questions. He suggests that it should be employed the idioms of convention and rationality. He also recognizes the centrality of decision, without assuming that arbitrariness has to go in hand with it. It is concluded that truth and convention peacefully coexist, but philosophy itself must begin wih conventions for the evaluations of conventions.en-US
dc.descriptionAl rechazar las preguntas metafísicas que esperan una respuesta basada solo en hechos, la tesis del autor es que: las formas realistas de hablar empleando las ideas de verdad, hecho y realidad proporcionan un enfoque poco realista a las preguntas filosóficas. Sugiere que se empleen los modismos de la convención y la racionalidad y propone reconocer la centralidad de la decisión, sin suponer que la arbitrariedad tiene que ir de la mano. Finalmente, concluye que la verdad y la convención coexisten pacíficamente, pero la filosofía misma debe comenzar con las convenciones para la evaluación de las convenciones.es-ES
