| dc.description | Historical study that exhibits a set of plans of Cuzco haciendas, prepared by Sergeant Major Don Ramón de Arechaga y Calvo Infantry, for measurements and boundaries, at the end of the 18th century. The author complements these maps with documents on appraisals, management, and the salary regime that involved not only the Cuzco haciendas, but also some coastal plantations, such as the highland sugarcane fields, take-away bread farms, and cattle ranches. The research, in addition to carrying out a detailed examination of the historiographic trends regarding the hacienda, analyzes the structure, operation, marketing and labor employed in this type of agricultural enterprise. | en-US |
| dc.description | Estudio histórico que exhibe un conjunto de planos de haciendas cuzqueñas elaborados por el Sargento Mayor de Infantería don Ramón de Arechaga y Calvo, para mensura y deslindes, a finales del siglo XVIII. El autor complementa estos mapas con documentos en torno a tasaciones, gestión y régimen de salarios que involucraba no sólo a las haciendas cuzqueñas, sino también a algunas plantaciones costeñas, como a los cañaverales serranos, chacras de pan llevar y estancias de ganados. La investigación, además de efectuar un prolijo examen de las tendencias historiográficas respecto al tema de la hacienda, analiza la estructura, el funcionamiento, la comercialización y la mano de obra empleada en este tipo de empresa agrícola.
