Odontologia.The objective of this work was to review the literature involving the permanent dental cements: zinc phosphate, zincpolycarboxylate, glass ionomer, and resin cements. These materials have different compositions and physical and chemical properties, which results in different directions. It is for the dentist to know these properties and indications for each type of dental cement for your application.
