Implementación de un prototipo funcional de sistema biométrico para el control de asesorías de proyectos integradores

Abstract

En la presente investigación aplicada, se digitaliza la toma de asistencia, mejorando la eficacia y eficiencia de dicha toma, mediante el uso de dispositivos biométricos conectados a una base de datos soportada en una plataforma diseñada específicamente para dicha tarea brindando una herramienta adecuada de control y consulta, tanto para docentes, como estudiantes y demás miembros del cuerpo académico competentes para acceder a la información que se almacena automáticamente y en tiempo real, al reportar la asistencia en el lector de huella dactilar ubicado en el lugar de la asesoría definido por el personal encargado. Este proyecto mejoró la calidad en el proceso de toma de datos de asistencia a las asesorías de los proyectos integradores por parte del docente a los alumnos, los que deberían ocupar un lugar asignado según días y horas correspondientes. Con la presente investigación aplicada, se logró facilitar el registro mediante lectores de huellas digitales, implementados y soportados sobre tecnología innovadora, adecuadamente programada para tal finalidad, brindar un índice superior de confianza en cuanto a la veracidad de la información ingresada y en el momento de consulta, ya que es muy difícil falsificar una huella digital esto daría un grado mayor de confianza en la información.

In the present applied research, the attendance taking was digitized, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of said taking, through the use of biometric devices connected to a database supported on a platform specifically designed for said task, providing an adequate control tool and consultation, both for teachers, students and other members of the competent academic body to access the information that is stored automatically and in real time, when reporting attendance in the fingerprint reader located in the place of counseling defined by the staff in charge. This project improved the quality of the data collection process of assistance to the consultancies of the integrative projects by the teacher to the students, who should occupy an assigned place according to the corresponding days and hours. With the present applied research, it was possible to facilitate registration through fingerprint readers, implemented and supported on innovative technology, properly programmed for this purpose, providing a higher level of confidence in terms of the veracity of the information entered and at the time of registration. consultation, since it is very difficult to falsify a fingerprint, this would give a greater degree of confidence in the information.
