| dc.description | O presente trabalho tem como propósito identificar as diferenças de enfoque dadas a um mesmo acontecimento por revistas brasileiras e portuguesas com o intuito de analisar a relevância do fator cultural no jornalismo e na tradução. Se contemplado enquanto tradução de fatos, muitos elementos presentes no fazer jornalístico se aplicam também à atividade tradutória. A proposta de análise será feita à luz das teorias de Christiane Nord (1991), na área da tradução, e Frank Esser (apud ZIPSER, 2002), no campo jornalístico. Considerando-se que a tradução se realiza a partir de um texto tido como original para então se transformar em outro texto, ambos veiculados a determinadas culturas, os textos jornalísticos podem ser vistos como tradução se tomarmos o fato em si como #texto-fonte# e a reportagem como uma tradução culturalmente emoldurada. Utilizaremos reportagens escritas para as culturas portuguesa e brasileira, ambas sobre a queda do Airbus 330, ocorrido em junho de 2009 e, com isso, objetivamos salientar a importância do fator cultural, indubitavelmente presente na língua, a ser considerado com mais diligência como amparo e instrumento para o jornalista/tradutor, bem como sua relevância frente a manifestações linguístico-culturais distintas | |
| dc.description | This paper aims to identify the differences of focus given to the same event by Brazilian and Portuguese magazines in order to analyze the relevance of the cultural factor in journalism and in translation. Many elements present in the journalism also apply to the translational activity if considered as a translation of facts. The proposed analysis will be done in the light of the theories by, on the one hand, Christiane Nord (1991) in translation, and, on the other hand, Frank Esser (apud ZIPSER, 2002) in the journalistic field. Considering that the translation is done from an original text into another one, the journalistic texts can be seen as translations if we take the fact itself as a #source text#, and the journalistic text as a culturally framed translation. We will use journalistic texts written for Portuguese and Brazilian cultures, both on the fall of the Airbus 330, which occurred in June, 2009, and, therefore, we aim to underline the importance of the cultural factor, which is undoubtedly present in language, to be considered more diligently as a support and a tool to journalists/translators, as well as its relevance to distinct cultural-linguistic manifestations | |
