dc.descriptionThe present article aims to annalise the formation of the Vila de São Pedro de Cantagaloand the Irmandade do Santíssimo Sacramento under the concept of Produção dePresença in order to perceive the arrangements between brothers of the referredconfraternity where the most outstanding cadres of the village are established,constituting itself as a local elite. Furthermore, it is necessary to reinforce that thisorganization was a central element in the region's formation, and was a space ofdistribution of powers based on the relationships between Santíssimo’s brothers and thehistorically constructed space that emerged there during the end of the XVIII centuryand in the first decades of the XIX. At the same time, it will be remarkable theparticipation of these brothers in the Chamber of the aforementioned village in order to confirm their role as articulators of the modus operandi of the region, establishingthemselves as a local political-religious elite.en-US
dc.descriptionO presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar a formação da Vila de São Pedro de Cantagalo e Irmandade do Santíssimo Sacramento sob o conceito de Produção de Presença de modo a perceber os arranjos entre os irmãos da referida confraria em que se estabelecem os quadros mais destacados da vila, constituindo-se enquanto uma elite local. Outrossim, é necessário reforçar que essa organização foi elemento central na formação da região, e foi espaço de distribuição de poderes a partir das relações entre os irmãos do Santíssimo e entre o espaço historicamente construído que surgia ali durante o fim do século XVIII e nas primeiras décadas do XIX. Ao mesmo tempo, será notávela participação desses irmãos nos quadros da Câmara da referida vila de modo a confirmar seu papel de articuladores do modus operandi da região, firmando-se enquanto uma elite local político-religiosa.pt-BR
