| dc.description | This article aims to address “biohacking” as an alternative in the formulation of public policies aimed at gifted students with Asperger’s Syndrome. It begins by presenting special/gifted education as a social right, giftedness as a specific educational need, Asperger's Syndrome as an impairment recognized as disability and the coexistence between these two conditions as a complex public problem. It relates “biohacking” to libertarian paternalism, exposing the inspiration of both in stoic thinking. Finally, it elicits “biohacks” within the idea of “nudge”, concluding for the convenience of their use in specialized educational services. It is an exploratory and qualitative research, with emphasis on data collection and bibliographic review. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artigo visa abordar o “biohacking” como alternativa na formulação de políticas públicas destinadas aos educandos superdotados com Síndrome de Asperger. Inicia apresentando a educação especial como direito social, a superdotação como necessidade educacional específica, a Síndrome de Asperger como um impedimento reconhecido como deficiência e a coexistência entre essas duas condições como problema público complexo. Relaciona o “biohacking” ao paternalismo libertário, expondo a inspiração de ambos no pensamento estoico. Ao fim, elenca “biohacks” enquadráveis na ideia de “nudge”, concluindo pela conveniência de seu emprego nos serviços de atendimento educacional especializado.
