dc.descriptionRESUMO: São exploradas as contribuições teóricas que o pensamento coreográfico traz para os estudos da instalação e vice-versa. Propõe-se que a relação coreográfica do espectador com a obra é imanente em algumas instalações e diferencia-se da participação lúdica, dramática ou de pura entrega sensorial comumente associadas a essa linguagem. Simultaneamente, são analisadas obras de dança contemporânea que tem se aventurado no limite da linguagem tridimensional, através de esculturas corporais e instalações coreográficas. Intenciona-se instaurar um jogo de significações, verticalizando nos conceitos de coreografia e instalação, e atentar para o que pode se revelar desse processo. Palavras-chave: Coreografia; Instalação; Participação ABSTRACT Theoretical contributions to the studies of installation art can be achieved with a choreographic approach to it and vice versa. It is suggested that the choreographic relationship between the spectator and the work is immanent to some installations and differentiates itself to the playful, dramatic or the delivery of pure sensory involvement commonly associated with this language. Simultaneously, contemporary dance works that have ventured themselves into the three-dimensional boundary through choreographic installations and body sculptures are analysed. The concepts of choreography and installation art are cross- referenced in order to attend to what may theoretically come from this encounter.
