| dc.description | Imanências na tela: a dissecação artística do corpo mediada pelas tecnologias da videodança é um exercício de desdobramento de minha pesquisa de doutorado intitulada Dança Imanente: uma dissecação artística do corpo no processo de criação do espetáculo Avesso. A intenção aqui é verificar a aplicabilidade dos conceitos de imanência e dissecação artística do corpo no contexto da videodança, já que os mesmos foram implementados inicialmente para a dança presencial. A ideia agora é, portanto, repensar esses conceitos no âmbito de uma linguagem de interface entre dança e vídeo, a fim de reafirmá-los e/ou complementá-los. Partindo do princípio da imanência, traça-se uma reflexão sobre o uso dos recursos tecnológicos do vídeo como estratégia para a dissecação artística do corpo, virtualizado na imagem, no espaço e no tempo a partir da interferência da câmera e do programa de edição.

ANA FLÁVIA DE MELLO MENDES é doutora e mestra em Artes Cênicas pela Universidade Federal da Bahia, professora efetiva da Universidade Federal do Pará (Instituto de Ciências da Arte/ Escola de Teatro e Dança), fundadora e diretora artística da Cia Moderno de Dança, coordenadora do Festival Escolar de Dança do Pará e do Projeto Social Aluno-Bailarino-Cidadão. Atua no Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes da Universidade Federal do Pará e é membro dos seguintes grupos de pesquisa: PACA – Pesquisa em Artes Cênicas na Amazônia; CIRANDA – Círculo Antropológico da Dança; Poéticas Tecnológicas na Dança.
Immanences on screen: the artistic dissection of the body mediated by videodance technologies is a development of my doctoral thesis: Immanent Dance: an artistic dissection of the body in the creative process of the piece Avesso. The intention here is to verify the applicability of the concepts “immanence” and “artistic dissection of the body” in the context of videodance, since both were initially chosen for describing non-virtual, tridimensional dance. The objective is to rethink these concepts in the scope of an interface between dance and video in order to reassert and/or complement them. Starting with the principle of immanence, a reflection is made on the technological possibilities of video as a strategy for the artistic dissection of the body which is virtualized by the use of a camera and editing software.

ANA FLÁVIA DE MELLO MENDES has a PhD and a MA in Performing Arts from the Universidade Federal da Bahia. She is currently a professor of the Universidade Federal do Pará (Instituto de ciência da arte/Escola de teatro e dança). She is also the founder and artistic director of the Companhia Moderno de Dança, coordinator of the Festival Escolar de Dança do Pará and of the charity project Aluno-Bailarina-Cidadão. She works in the post-graduation program in Arts of the Universidade Federal do Pará, and is a member of the following research groups: PACA - Research in performing arts of Amazonia; CIRANDA - The anthropological circle of dance; Poéticas Tecnológicas na Dança. | pt-BR |
