The study of wind action in constructions is of fundamental importance for civil engineering in view of the great influence of the forces caused by it on the global stability of the structure and on the dimensioning of pillars and foundations. With the tendency to build buildings with complex sections, whether tall and slender or small, wind loading becomes difficult to analyze in view of the norm. Aiming to better understand an architecture not covered by NBR 6123:2013 and a topic little explored in graduation, the work proposes to study the structural response to wind of a small building with triangular geometry located in Itaguara, a city in the interior of Minas Gerais, presenting the results obtained in commercial software TQS considering variations of angle for the incidence of the wind in addition to the angles foreseen in the wind standard. Concepts linked to the wind calculation are presented according to the current standard in Brazil, NBR 6123:2013, as well as brief definitions regarding the global stability of the structure. The Brazilian standard recommends carrying out tests in a wind tunnel for a better understanding of the behavior of structures that present particular characteristics not foreseen in its scope, however, given the impossibility of testing in a wind tunnel for the building under study, the simplifications necessary during the production of this model for the use of the Brazilian standard and the reflection of such considerations in the final results obtained after the global processing of the structure.
