Introduction: Physical literacy (PA) is defined as the “motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding to value and take responsibility for lifelong involvement in physical activity” (KEEGAN; BARNETT; DUDLEY, 2019). The Physical Literacy Profile Questionnaire (QPAF) was developed to measure PA in all its domains and elements, and to provide better planning and intervention in physical and recreational activities for children, adolescents and young adults with physical disabilities between 6 and 21 years old. (SOUZA AND FERREIRA, 2021). Objective: In this way, it is necessary to investigate the validity of content in parents and/or responsible caregivers of children, adolescents and young adults with physical disabilities between 6 and 21 years old. Methodology: This is a methodological study, guided by the Consensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) to assess content validity by caregivers. The structured questionnaire included questions related to the relevance, scope and understanding of the items and the wording of the instrument. Results: 50 caregivers were recruited, of which 48 (96%) were mothers/fathers and only 2 (4%) were other caregivers. As for children, adolescents and young adults aged 6 to 21 years, 35 individuals (70%) are male and 15 (30%) female, the mean age was 11.17 with a standard deviation of 4.44 . The most prevalent health condition of the participants was Autistic Spectrum Disorder, with 27 individuals (54%) and Cerebral Palsy with 16 individuals (32%). Conclusion: Based on the present study, it was found that the QPAF had adequate content validity for caregivers of children, adolescents and young adults with disabilities.
