The thermal environment inside the facilities is influenced by several environmental actions, which affect the ideal thermal conditions to the development of the birds. This investigation had the objective to study and to analyze the influence of environmental thermal conditions on the interior of three poultry houses at different ages: shed 1 animal housing at the thirty-fourth weeks of life, shed 2 fifteenth weeks, and at the shed 3 sixty-eighth weeks of life. Daily readings were performed during the period of 28 days with the aid of data loggers. A randomized complete block design (DBC) was used, in a factorial arrangement 4 x 6 (weeks x time), with the following variables evaluated: air temperature (T°C), relative humidity (UR%), temperature (TGN) and therefore the Black Globe Temperature and Humidity Index (ITGU) were calcu-lated. According to the results, it was verified that the temperature was favorable for the development of the birds in facilities 01 and 03, in which animals with the highest ages were confined. In the installation 02 it was observed that temperatures average below the ideal range, compromising the development of the birds, exposing the birds under conditions of cold thermal stress. The results for relative humidity were favorable to the development of the birds at 11:00 and 17:00 in all the studied facilities. The values obtained for ITGU demonstrated a thermal comfort condition for birds at the times and periods analyzed in the respective facilities.
