dc.description.abstractThis article presents part of the results achieved by the project "Capturing new models of education among indigenous minorities and quilombolasin Brazil". The projectis based on aresearch experience with the Pataxoop Muã Mimãtxi indigenous school/community in times of pandemic. Experience teaches that starting any project in an indigenous village requires presence and coexistence as basic requirements. Originally, the project activities were plannedthis way. Butwith the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, all this initial planning had to be adapted to the new times. Muã Mimãtxi teaches us pedagogies totally in tune with the challenges imposed by the current ecological collapse, consisting of a school-community experience “to postpone the end of the world”, to evoke Ailton Krenak. We hope, in the end, to point out the contours of a "science of the earth" of Muã Mimatxi.
