dc.description.abstract | Sexually transmitted infections in pregnant women can cause significant complications in the mother and the concept. Prevention, early diagnosis and timely treatment are critical if these problems are to be avoided. The objective of this study was to develop a proposal for intervention aimed at minimizing the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections in pregnant women of the health team of the São Francisco family of the Family Health Program Dr. Aurélio Caciquinho in Januária - Minas Gerais. The low level of information, the late intake of pregnant women and the lack of qualification of the human resources were some of the causes found for the prevalence of Sexually Transmitted Infections in pregnant women. The study population consisted of 24 pregnant women from urban and rural areas, all of whom had prenatal screening. In order to contribute to the implementation of the intervention proposal, a bibliographic review was carried out in the Virtual Health Library to identify studies already carried out on the subject. The intervention proposal was developed based on situational strategic planning, using situational diagnosis data, aiming to contribute to improve the level of information and health education of pregnant women / partners, qualifying the health team and performing early pregnancy capture And thus obtain effective results that influence the decrease in the prevalence of Sexually Transmitted Infections in this group. The educational actions of promotion and prevention in health come to raise awareness and awareness of the community and train multipliers and transformers of society. Finally, we hope that this work can contribute significantly to achieving good health indicators for our population, and that sexually transmitted infections can be adequately prevented and treated in a timely manner. | |
