dc.description.abstractThe work is dedicated to go through historical social processes and academic productions that give indications of the path for the insertion of Corporal Adventure Practices in Physical Education at School. The text is an essay that emerges from a literature review research. It was possible to perceive that the change in the understanding of the role of Physical Education in school, associated with a more authorial profile of teachers, with a growing academic interest in adventure, as well as the increase in visibility about adventure practices, especially in the commercial sphere, were reasons that were intertwined. can be understood as the factors that made it possible to include these practices in school, regardless of the guiding documents.
