dc.description.abstractThis article attempts to show a little story about country music, emphasizing the clash of cultures and urban country music, traditional and modern. There is a short discussion on the issue of identity of the backcountry, as well as an analysis of the musical production hinterland in large urban centers in an attempt to rescue the culture of the hinterland that are in those urban centers and/or people who somehow has an affinity for country music.
