dc.description.abstract | Starting from a phenomenological existential understanding about corporeality, we have that the body is something that we are and not something that we have, and in that body every possible experience of being in the world takes place, that is, the body is home for the expressive. Seeking to illustrate an experience of being a body that is experiencing its possibilities, needs and boundaries, the following research proposes a dialogue between literature and Gestalt therapy. Since literary art is known to be an important reflection tool in highlighting perceptions, values, beliefs, and forms of expression. Thus, while making use of a literary analysis proposed by Elodia Xavier and a tale of Nelida Piñon, two Brazilian writers, I describe in terms of Gestalt therapy, which would be the experience of a "reflected body", also referring to the Introjection, an interruption in the contact boundary, as well as the output motion of this block toward a path to healing. | |
