dc.description.abstractThe paper describes the process of composition of the “law of the tendential fall in the rate of profit” from the perspective of the marxian manuscripts published between 1975 and 2012 in the new MEGA edition. The text discusses the “four drafts” for Das Kapital, the Grundrisse, the Manuscript of 1861-1863, the Manuscript of 1864-1865 and the set of manuscripts Marx wrote until the end of his life. The paper also discusses the recent interpretations of those manuscripts
