dc.description.abstractThe fatalities resulting from the structural collapse that occurred in fire situations, emphasizes the importance of ensuring that the structural elements resist a minimum time, so that people can leave and the fire department can work safely. In this context, it was proposed in this work to present the design of a residential building in a reinforced concrete, following the premises of ABN NBR 6118:2014; and critically analyze the behavior of the structure in a fire situation according to ABNT NBR 15200:2012.
