dc.description.abstractInnovation is an important competitive advantages for economic growth process is investment in research and achievement of the innovation. The important way to improve the innovation process is investment in research and achievement of the innovation. However, the most research institutions are not primarily aim commercially exploit their inventions, it is necessary to encourage technology transfer process. This research, based on the change of the Brazilian regulatory framework relating to innovation in 2004, to analyses the adjustment that happen on technology transfer process between research institutions and companies in Brazil, considering the emergence of open innovation concept. Therefore, the quantitative research was used in the analysis of the research groups of the directory in Brazil, the CNPq website. From these analyzes could be observed the relations between research groups and business enterprises after the braziliam innovation’s law changes.
