dc.description.abstractAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental change that affects people all over the world. The first approaches to the disorder occurred in the 1940s, which is why it has been the subject of several studies since then. Studies on autism report that the disorder occurs in the form of a spectrum of manifestations, one of the reasons that broaden the considerations on the variations among individuals who suffer from this condition. This work sought to know how the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in educational practice in primary schools in the country was carried out, through research on articles published between 2004 and 2014 that address the issue and reflections on the debate on educational inclusion based on specific legislation and the National Education Plan (PNE). We also sought to know the perspective of the teachers who worked with these students, the influence of the teacher in the interaction, daily life and learning of students with ASD with typical children in inclusive school classes.
