dc.description.abstractThis study intends to verify the importance of teaching Art as a formative process of education for teenagers in Elementary School II, as an integrator of being, doing another and collective, based on the practice of the language of Performance. This language defines relations between Art and everyday life and applies questions through the performance language. The objectives were to analyze or learn students through fruition and aesthetic analysis, with reading of works, discussion and artistic work. For this, they were related as artistic manifestations present in the History of art with the students' daily lives, to identify the creative process as a means of expression, memory and learning in art. A research exposes the importance of the triangular approach, by Ana Mae Barbosa, together with "Performance Planning Form" and "Performance Assessment Form", guiding instruments of the methodology applied for the creation of performances by students. The result showed that, when working with a performance, one of the most abstract languages of Art, students were able to see the body as an object of creation and not contemplate. It was also expanded or the students' repertoire, which started to have a more integrated vision of Art.
