Abstract

The authorization of a dental office obeys to regulate and normalize the exercise of the profession; therefore, it unfolds between administrative procedures and clinical procedures, this gives patients the certainty of quality, service and satisfaction of their needs, therefore, providing a tool that allows future dentists in Bucaramanga to know the guidelines and regulations to enable their office is the purpose of this document. From the foregoing, it is imperative to know through a bibliographical and regulatory review, in a descriptive way, that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection decrees the values, indicators and guidelines, which must approve or specify the quality measures in the process of the provision of dental services to patients; Compliance with these rulings must be supported by the regulations and authorization of updated processes, which are determined by the institutions commissioned for surveillance and control in the sector.
