The main objective was to carry out a review of the interventions in and with self-compassion in the last four years, and to contribute to the review carried out by Kirby (2016), regarding self-compassion interventions. From the above, it is based on those put forward by Kristin Neff, who postulates self-compassion as a state of well-being that implies (Neff, 2003a, p.242) "to be open and moved by one's own suffering, experiencing feelings of affection and kindness towards self, understanding, impartial attitude towards one's deficiencies and failures, recognizing that one's experience is part of the common human experience", three main components are identified as being kind and understanding with oneself instead of rigid self-criticism, recognition of humanity shared and takes conscious and balanced thoughts and painful feelings. Within clinical practice in positive psychology, self-compassion is considered as a fundamental tool to achieve subjective well-being. The studies that met the inclusion criteria were classified according to the content that included interventions in and with self-compassion. The most commonly used measuring instrument was the Neff self- compassion scale. The most studied problems were anxiety, depression, stress, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and oncological diseases. The most used intervention was Mindful Self-Compassion. Limitations and suggestions for future studies in the strengthening of self-compassion are discussed.
