Abstract

The objective of this work was to design a technical guide on psychological first aid to assist witnesses of an accident at work, the type of research that was carried out corresponds to a technological development, this study was carried out through a review of guidelines and protocols related to psychological first aid (PAP). With which a theoretical and empirical basis for designing the guide was established, three aspects or sub-themes of psychological first aid that address the attitude of the assistant, which are: provide support, reduce mortality and provide the link with the sources Attendance, these aspects were released five components of psychological first aid, which are: make psychological contact, analyze the dimensions of the problem, probe the possible solutions, assist in the execution of specific steps and monitoring to verify progress. The work was intended. A tool of utility was offered to him so that an effective intervention in psychological first aid can be given to the people who are witnesses of an accident of work, since it corresponds to the secondary victims of the event, to which it is necessary to give them attention.
