Abstract
La falla renal aguda (FRA) después de cirugía cardiovascular es un factor de riesgo y pese al aumento de cardioprotección su incidencia es alta. En el estudio se identifica la correlación entre la morbimortalidad y la FRA en cirugía cardiovascular. Realizamos un estudio de Corte trasversal, 142 pacientes intervenidos de cirugía cardiovascular en la Clínica Shaio entre octubre 2009 a abril 2010. Se observó asociación entre RIFLE y la severidad renal con la creatinina. La ventilación mecánica y la estancia en UCI, presentan asociación (p < 0,05) con RIFLE. La FRA se asocia con mayor riesgo de mortalidad (p=0,000). Los resultados confirman la relación entre FRA post quirúrgica definida por RIFLE y mortalidad a 28 días.
